Worker Bees

An important unit of the hierarchy of every hive are the worker bees. These functionaries are both the protectors and heavy weight labor force of the colony. They produce honey from pollen, feed the young ones and once in their lifetime they can sacrifice themselves for the colony by stinging an invader which is usually deadly to both. They take great care of the queen who gives life to hundreds and thousands of such servants in her lifetime. Never resting and always busy their are a perfect example of selflessness for the good of beekind. It is my suspicion that Karl Marx used to be a beekeeper while writing his ideas ^_^.
