Sialis
Walking near Lobosh dam, I took this picture of Sialis while playing with my new macro lens. At that time I really didn't know the name of the Aderfly bug. There were thousands of them - flying around or simply resting on the grass leaves. Many small Sialis insects have a really short life time. They are always busy, coping to survive in a world full of predators. This exoskeleton creatures are very different from us humans. Most of them live in a constant motion. It is really scary to imagine what it would be like to live a life of an insect - you are so tiny, hunted by huge beetles and all kind of enormous species. Modern sci-fi movies really come close to that idea, showing us a lot of prototypes inheriting insect's shape and behavior.
