I wonder if Japanese got the idea for ikebana from coniferous trees. Fir needles: Once again the genius of nature evolutes to create a way for trees to be evergreen in summer and winter, in spring and autumn - in so many places on earth and its mountains. What a wonderful protection and beauty at the same time. In my country there are a lot of fir tree woods. It is so pleasant to be there and smell the resin. Nothing compares to that. You come into a different world with a very specific unrepeatable feeling of calmness. We like these trees so much that they are inseparable part of our Christmas eve every year. We share our happy moments in the presence of that very same green creature and still we continue killing nature around us. Isn't that a real tragedy?
