Butterfly Cocoon

The butterfly cocoon is famous for being interesting part of the specific life cycle - a total transformation from the egg to the grown up butterfly. Usually caterpillars are something that we are scared of or some of us have real impossibility to look at it. Then comes the danger experienced by many agrarian people having their harvest totally destroyed by these creatures. But we all love the beautiful butterflies and create many nice stories of them. So here it is - the pupa just before the beauty is born. Being a true illustration of cyclic recurrence in nature, this is just another example of magnificent metamorphosis in life.
